ABOUT

The name Rock Rising comes from the rough translation of the Muskogean word Chattanooga meaning “rock rising to a point”. The original Rock Rising team is comprised of several Chattanooga to NYC transplants who are committed to creating environments that elevate artists. Rock Rising's name represents our belief that artistic collaboration thrives in a supportive community. We have such fond memories of our formative creative experiences as young people. Whether it was involvement in the school play, summer camps, sports tournaments, or choir concerts, we often find ourselves longing for that special feeling of belonging to a team working towards a common goal. So, we started asking ourselves, how can we create an environment of belonging and unity as adult artists? Can’t we make this a lifestyle? As we shared this vision with other artists, Rock Rising hatched right before our very eyes.

Connect Communities. Amplify Artists. Spark Collaboration.

Our goal is to create fantastic content across multiple platforms, which respects both the integrity of the artist and the audience. Our goal is encouragement, humility, and community. We seek to learn, listen, and collaborate. In our experiences working on teams, we have come to the certain conclusion that treating one another with dignity is at the core of successful communication. Strong communication leads to successful, healthy teamwork. Above all, Rock Rising will strive to work with one another in mutual respect and patience. This is because it is proven that treating others as you would like to be treated consistently lifts others up. We hope you are interested in this type of creative environment!
